Visiting Associates

The Eagleton Visiting Associates Program pairs undergraduate and graduate students with accomplished professionals across government, politics, and public service, including staffers, attorneys, policy experts, nonprofit leaders, lobbyists, and advocates. Visiting Associates mentor education program students one-on-one, offering career guidance, professional insight, and a deeper understanding of public service pathways. Mentors commit to meeting at least once per semester (preferably in person) and attending one Eagleton Institute of Politics program each term, with opportunities to serve as guest speakers or panelists. Through these relationships, Visiting Associates help bridge academic learning and real-world impact, inspiring the next generation of civic leaders.
