Regina M. Egea is the Founder, Board Chair and past President of the Garden State Initiative (GSI), an independent research and public policy think tank focused on economic and fiscal issues facing New Jersey. Regina concluded her 30-year career at AT&T as Senior Vice President, Business Sales Marketing Support after holding leadership positions throughout the firm in Product Management, Network Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing. While at AT&T, Regina was elected to her hometown’s Board of Education and then the Township Committee, serving as Deputy Mayor. Regina joined the Christie Administration in 2010, first as the Treasurer’s Chief of Staff, where she was instrumental in pension reforms enacted in 2011, and then was brought into the Governor’s Office as Director of the Authorities Unit, and lastly served as Governor Christie’s Chief of Staff until April 2016. Regina earned an M.B.A. from Fordham University, a B.A. from Montclair University, and completed Harvard University’s Women on Boards program.
