Women in State Legislative Leadership 2021
A record of at least 2,236 women will serve in state legislatures in 2021, according to data compiled by the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP), a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. This surpasses the previous record, and current number, of 2,162 women in state legislative offices.
