International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2023
January 27, 2023 – “The Miller Center for Policing Excellence and Community Resilience is dedicated to protecting vulnerable populations and promoting community resilience. Today, we honor the anniversary of the Jewish community’s uprising in Warsaw so many years ago. We renew our commitment on this International Holocaust Remembrance Day to the vital work of protecting the most vulnerable among us and ensuring, to the extent possible, that no community faces the dire prospect that confronted the Jewish community in Warsaw on January 27, 1943,” said John J. Farmer, Jr., Director of both the Miller Center and the Eagleton Institute of Politics.
