Join the Eagleton Institute of Politics and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy for a discussion on ballot design, candidate representation, and encouraging voter participation in New Jersey elections.
This program features a presentation by Professor Julia Sass Rubin from the Bloustein School on her analysis of the impact of the county-based “line” in NJ primaries, with specific analysis of the 2020 elections and the recent 2021 NJ Primary Election. Professor Rubin’s comments are followed by four panelists, each of whom has expertise on election conduct and possibilities for reform.
