In honor of Constitution Day, the Eagleton Institute’s Center for Youth Political Participation in collaboration with the George Street Playhouse will host a free performance of What the Constitution Means to Me, a play by Heidi Schreck in which she delves into the multiple facets of this historic document, debating as to whether or not it should be kept or abolished. The performance will be followed by a panel and networking reception with young adult activists and public servants sharing their insights on advocacy and impacting ones community through the lens of the Constitution.

Panelists include:

• Mayor Jason Cilento, Dunellen, New Jersey

• Solcyre Burga Granda, Reporter, Time Magazine

• Chloe Desir, Environmental Justice Organizer, Ironbound Community Corporation

The panel will be moderated by Jack Ramirez, President of the Rutgers University Student Assembly. Light refreshments will be served.

Open to current Rutgers University undergraduate and graduate students only.
