The 118th Congress Young Elected Leaders Report

Only six candidates who are 35 years old or younger were newly elected to serve in Congress during the 2022 midterm election, according to new data released by the Center for Youth Political Participation at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. The 118th United States Congress has a total of 14 members who are 35 years old or younger, indicating that more work is needed in order to achieve representation among young elected officials in our nation’s capital.

International Law Enforcement Leaders Issue Declaration Against Extremism and Hate at March of the Living in Poland

Today, for the first time ever, an intercontinental delegation of chiefs of police and sheriffs are convening in Krakow, Poland, to participate in the International March of the Living, a formal remembrance of the horrors of the Holocaust. The annual event, which began in 1988, is taking place this year from 17-19 April 2023. The delegation issued a formal declaration against antisemitism, extremism, hatred, and intolerance.
