Kozak fills numerous roles at Eagleton including assistant to the director and associate director, coordinator of the graduate fellowship and undergraduate associates programs, liaison to visiting associates, education program alumni and Eagleton Alumni Committee, and general manager for Wood Lawn mansion and Carriage House facilities. Kozak has been at Rutgers since 1996.

Prior to joining Eagleton in 2006, Kozak was assistant to the dean of outreach and extension programs at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences/Rutgers Cooperative Extension and administrative assistant for the Center for Molecular Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry. Prior to Rutgers, Kozak worked for Computer Sciences Corporation on a U.S. Department of Defense contract at Fort Monmouth U.S. Army Communication-Electronics Command. Kozak received a bachelor's degree in sociology and secondary education from Rowan University, completed coursework at Union County College's American Sign Language Interpreting Program, and is currently pursuing an executive master's degree in public administration through Rutgers-Camden.
